Lou Meeks (see contact information above) at BI did both DH's ("dear husband" or another more derogatory expansion depending on my mood) knees years ago and he was fantastic. He is an excellent surgeon specializing in sports medicine and knees, has a great bedside manner, at the time his NP (nurse practitioner in medical shorthand) and office people were extremely efficient and friendly and he has a sterling reputation among the other physicians (something I always consider when choosing a doc). DH's recovery was much quicker than expected and he is pleased with the results. Lou is a character - and I mean that in the best way! - and when the time comes for me to get my 100,000 mile overhaul, he will be the only person I will consult.
