Books can also be donated to the Friends of the Framingham Public Library. They sell the books at the monthly book sales at the main library at modest prices and use the proceeds to fund numerous activities for Framingham residents. If you are interested in the "Friends" look them up at _http://www.framinghamlibrary.org/friends/friends.htm_ (http://www.framinghamlibrary.org/friends/friends.htm)

I guess that those that cannot be sold by the library could then be recycled at the Mt. Wayte Recycling Center. What a win-win situation!

David Morales Precinct 6

Books may be taken to the Recycling Center located on Mount Wayte Ave (the former incinerator) during the normal hours of operation. We are there Friday and Saturday from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm and Sunday from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.

When you enter the facility an attendant will direct you to the proper location to deposit the books. All books from hardcover and paperback to new and old, textbooks, children's, fiction and non-fiction; they take them all. In addition, they accept videos, CDs, DVDs, audio books, video games, computer software, sports cards, small sports memorabilia, LPs/ records and comic books.
