Alcoba Hairdressing
847 Edgell Road
Framingham, MA
Alcobra Hairdressing salon do men and woman. They are in the same Mall as Nobscott Cafe. They are the last business on the block. They are not a barber shop but charge the same. Lots of men go there both young and old.

Buddy's Barbershop
55 Waverly St. (Rt 135)
Framingham, MA
Buddy's Barbershop at 55 Waverly St. (Rt 135) () is absolutely topnotch, IMHO. I and my whole family have gone to Buddy for more than 25 years, dating back to when he worked at Joseph's in the old Natick Mall. I realize that it's south of Rt 9, but his reasonable price, efficient service and personal integrity and care will make it worth the extra few miles for you. He's located on Rt 135 just east of downtown Framingham, 0.3 mile or so before you get to Wendy's or the W. Natick train station. Tell him Art sent you.

I don't know about Northside, but on Waverly St. near the Natick line is Buddy's next to the bike shop and the Sunoco station. I've been very happy with Buddy's work ever since I found him about 5 years ago.

Saxony Barber Shop
3 Central Street
Framingham, MA
In all likelihood, most of the people who write about the Saxony Barber Shop aren't judging them on the same criteria I use. There are lots of people who can trim a beard, but it takes a lot of searching to find someone who knows how to trim a long beard. It's the difference between a short beard that's too long and a long beard that was intended to be there.
Earl, at the above mentioned shop is a real jewel. I usually avail myself of his services a few times a year, but when he's done I feel considerably more civilized. He's the older gentleman with a picture of himself standing over a 400lb bear.
