When I bought a fixer upper a few years ago, he replaced the drop to the street and the fuse box, fixed bad wiring that the former owner had done, made sure all the outlets were up to code and the house was grounded.
The few times I have called him with a question, he responds instantly and comes if I need him.

We had our service replaced, including moving the location of our breaker panel. Adrian called back and showed up the very same day I made my first call to him. He pointed out a number of things two other electricians did not mention, and his price was in the exact same range as the others. The job was done within the very next week, very neat and professional.

We've had Adrian Courtade & Son do a few other smaller jobs since our service was replaced. each time they were extremely reliable and did excellent work. I stand by my original recommendation from 2007. If you need an Electrician, they're the ones to call.

This is a recommendation for Jeff Crosby , electrician. Recently we decided to install recessed lighting in 2 rooms and install a number of additional outlets and switches.
We got prices from 4 electricians, 3 of which are in the WIKI.
Jeff had the lowest price and did a good job. When he hit problems, he did not come back for more money, he just did the job for the agreed upon price. Pleasant and agreeable, I recommend you include him in your choosing of an electrician for home projects.

I'd like to put in another positive recommendation for licensed electrician Jeff Crosby.
We hired Jeff to fix the broken lamp post on our driveway and he did a great job. He put in an extra outlet and it works perfectly now. Jeff is friendly, reliable and affordable. We would definitely use him again.

I have used Jeff Crosby (774-279-0047) in the past and was very satisfied with his work. We were selling an older two family and the Fire Dept. wanted all sorts of upgrades re: Hard wired smoke alarms, heat detectors, co detectors etc. Jeff quoted a fair price and he took care of all the permits (one from the town and two from the FFD). I would use him again. Good luck.

I am compelled to write yet another vote for Jeff Crosby (774)279-0047-- here's why.
It was a Sunday Night about a month ago, FREEZING outside, and I had to cut the power to my entire house not wanting to risk a fire. My MAIN BREAKER panel started sparking and lights all over the house flickering -- I could see the obvious melting of circuit breakers upon closer inspection. I have a 3 year old and needed to get this fixed ASAP!
So I called several people and the only person who got back to me (and quickly I might add) was Jeff. He's like, "look, my family and I are on our way to a Birthday party for a relative, but here's what I can do... we'll swing by your house on our way to the party and I can take a look at your panel, so that I know exactly what equipment and parts I'll need to buy in the morning when the electrical supply opens... and I'll get there first thing in the morning, as early as I can so we can get started" - True to his word, he was outside my house with everything he needed first thing in the morning.
He did a great job, I kept him company during most of the work, helping when I could. He's a stand-up nice guy, no smoke and mirrors, does excellent work (he saw my house was not properly grounded and then installed grounding rods right outside my house (8 feet of pounding them into the cold ground with a sledgehammer)) -- I'm sure he wasn't planning on doing that as part of the quote, but he stayed true to his quote which was absolutely reasonable.
I think telling my story is about the best recommendation I can give.

I would highly recommend Dave Comerato of DF Comerato Electric. He's a native son of Framingham, and he's fast, polite, friendly, and reasonable. We used him most recently to add cable jacks to our upstairs bedrooms and rewire an outlet that just wasn't quite right.

Just wanted to put in a plug (no pun intended) for electrician Mike Fisher. I had Mike do some work for me a couple of times and he not only did he do excellent work but his price was extremely fair. I've had a lot of problems with contractors in the past, so it was a pleasant change to deal with someone who was honest.
So if you're ever in need of an electrician, give Mike a call. He's local too.

Mike has been amazing and I couldn't recommend him more highly. We recently moved to Framingham and our home has some serious electrical needs. Mike has been out several times, often on short notice and he has taken very good care of us. Mike is always very clear in explaining what the issues are and how best to resolve them and never pressures us one way or the other. We are about to begin a big electrical project to fix all the problems and I feel like we are in excellent hands.

I have an awesome electrician who resides on Garvey Rd. in Framingham and is not only an excellent tradesman, professional and knowledgeable but personable and very affordable (don't tell him I told you that part!). I have priced at least 12 others electrical shops/tradesmen and he is by far the best of all worlds. He is licensed and insured. Young guy starting out, building a business.

Just wanting to put in a good word for Peter Prus. He came to my house yesterday, Jan 14th, '09, and fixed my old stove top, plus made it so my wall oven is now funtioning properly. He was polite, prompt, (and came the same day I called); also, VERY reasonable. I will definitely call him again.
He is fully licensed, and insured, and lives on Garvey Rd. in Framingham.

I just had Peter come over to deal with some wiring problem in one of my thermostats. I called and just lucked out; he was able to get here in twenty minutes. It was $160 for 2 hours but the job is done and I'm glad of it.

I Called Peter today to troubleshoot and electrical problem I was having. He was in the area and came by within 10 minutes. He was pleasant and extremely thorough. As he walked around the house he gave me some pointers on some electrical issues he saw around the house. I highly recommend Peter.

After a big storm, our dishwasher stopped working. I called Peter and he spent about 15-20 minutes checking it out. He told me it wasn't an electrical problem and that I needed to call someone that fixes appliances. He offered some general pointers and didn't charge me anything for his time. He's an honest and friendly person which I would recommend.
