Laurie Lee I feel very comfortable in endorsing her. I can't think of any negatives for her.
Dennis Giombetti I disagree with his stand on wanting to replace the current form of government with the city form of government, however, I don't believe the other candidates would make a good fit for the Board of Selectmen
School Committee
Michael Bower, David Miles, Carol Phalen The other candidates are good people, but I feel that the current School Committee has done the best that could be done given the bad situation they face with the school budget. It is very important to have the best sitting on the School Committee when we are not in the best of time. I endorse David Bower, Michael Miles, and Carol Phalen.
If Eric Silverman was running for School Committee, I would like to hear what he would have done differently instead of being extremely critical of the current School Committee, especially what he would have done if the money was still the same in spite of his best effort to get the Board of Selectmen to give more money to the School Committee.
Ultimately I have have gone on record at some of the School Committee hearings calling for people to go after their State and Federal Legislators/Congressmen to put priorities in continuing to fund their mandates and to fund the local school budgets.
