I would also like to pass along the name of, Heather Barr, a wonderful photographer who has worked with our family on many occasions. In addition to on location family photography, she does weddings and special events so I am sure she would have some location ideas from her previous clients.

I wanted to get some pictures of my daughter while the foliage here in New England is so beautiful - I was very fortunate to hire Joe Johnston, the photographer who photographed Govenor Deval Patrick last year when he visited Barbieri School (he donated his services) He worked with me with the timing - peak foliage, perfect day, and after school - he scouted out several locations for the best color. We decided on Cushing which has such meaning for us - that is where we picnic and learned to ride bikes, etc. Mr. Johnston spent over an hour, he was able to get my daughter to take direction, pose and the pictures were phenomenal - I was able to ask for certain poses, I wanted a certain tree in one of the shots, etc. He told my daughter that at the end she would be able to pose however she wanted and he would take her picture - she ended up gathering a bunch of fall leaves and throwing them up into the air! He captured that carefree, 'happiness is a bunch of fall leaves' - the picture will always remind me of the joy of being 6 years old. I highly recommend him.

Carol MacGregor

I highly recommend local photographer Carol MacGregor. She is fantastic! Carol is professional, very enthusiastic about her work, easy to communicate with, and has very reasonable rates. You will not be disappointed! Carol did some portraits of me for my website this summer that were outstanding. I could not have been more pleased. She also photographed a private movie premier reception for us last week and delivered beautiful shots - both candid and posed, as well as lovely and creative still life shots of the premium theatre where our event was held. Lastly, her turn around time is speedy.
