Candleberry Chapel

My brother was recently married at Candleberry Chapel in Attleboro; It was LOVELY! Beautiful chapel, gorgeous grounds with big trees, water, stone walls, lots of lawn. I am not sure about the size but the Reverend and his wife, who own and run it, are just the nicest people and they are sure to be helpful.

My son was married at the Lyman Estates in Waltham; for all the reasons you detailed, it was perfect. The grounds are gorgeous, the mansion is elegant and historic. Very accessible from Boston but well outside the city so it's peaceful and prices are reasonable.

My cousin was married at Tower Hill Botanical Gardens in Boylston (it's right off 495). The wedding was in August, when you'd expect it to be at least warm, if not sunny, but there was an unusual glitch and it was in the high 40's/low 50's and torrential rain. The wedding, which had been scheduled to be outdoors in the gardens was moved indoors at the last minute into the orangerie, which was stunningly beautiful: ceiling high trees and flowers indoors with fairy lights strung on them, glassed in on all sides with views of the gardens and the foliage and smelled heavenly. As the evening fell and the lights came on, it was magical and no one even once felt bad about the monsoon raging outdoors. This was not a small wedding either, and the orangerie accomodated evreyone comfortably. Something for the future groom and his family to consider.

Check out the Warren Conference Center in Ashland. I got married at this facility. They also have a hotel on the premises. Our wedding was in August and it was outside, if the weather was going to be bad they had an area that was covered. It's a great place.
