Description: La Cantina features tradional Italian family fare. Dinner entrees include salad (with refills). There are regular day-of-the-week specials, printed right in their menu. The antipasto is terrific and a large one will feed more than two people as a dinner. La Cantina has a bar area with multiple televisions, usually showing local sports teams. The exterior walls are lined with booths and the remaining tables have removable separators to accommodate larger parties. There is not much atmosphere; if there's background music, it's not noticeable. During popular times the wait can exceed 30 minutes.

La Cantina had always been a family favorite and I hadn't been in years.
Their salad is, as always, outstanding. I love their dressing. The pasta was a bit overcooked but their sauce was the same as always. My favorite had always been the chicken parm and it has greatly changed. I was served a piece of breaded chicken that was obviously previously pre-breaded and previously frozen. It was thin and dried out and chewy.
I remember getting their chicken parm and it was REAL chicken. Moist and tasty. How times have changed.
A friend got the lasagna, which seemed to be about the same but with less cheese than I remembered.
