I would like to add my accolades to those of others for Jennifer Brumm at The Artistic Edge salon. Like others, I was very pleased with the haircut and styling I got with Jenn. She is very conscientious, talented, and friendly. AND she's not in a grand rush to get done. If you've had trouble getting a good "do," pay a visit to Jenn and I think you will be happy with her work. You will need to call ahead for an appointment.

Hello, Neighbors,
I just wanted to follow through with my neighborly report. I had been reading much about this Jen from Artistic Edge and have been quite intrigued. I decided to give the Chicago dry cut a shot.
I can report that I love the cut. I have never seen my hair look this healthy, in quite some time. I truly enjoyed styling it today.
Jen is a native to the area, but had left for Chicago for 6 years. She comes back to us with this cutting edge, dry cut. What an asset to the Framingham, as she provides something a little different. One more thing worth mentioning, she doesn't over book, so it is just one-on-one with Jen.

Just one more rave review for Jenn Brumm at Artistic Edge. I always have the worst luck with haircuts. Looks great in the salon when I leave and then I can't do a thing with it on my own. Horrible cowlicks galore.
I had the best haircut with Jenn. She is super friendly and knows how to give a great cut. I couldn't be happier. If anyone is on the fence about trying a new hairdresser you will not be disappointed.

After all the good reports we had here on framcom about Jenn, I decided that just maybe, I could take a shot and actually get my beard the way I wanted it to be. When she first showed up, she was a bit nervous about getting the business up and running. Now it looks like too many people know about her and she is booking about two weeks in advance. Whatever you do, don't tell anyone else. 
I'm impressed. By comparison, it looks like I was previously being done by hedge clippers. She has a great sense of balance and precision. I have to say that I've never felt like it was done as well before, and I've had this beard since I was 13. Of course, back then it was about a foot longer, but there was still enough left for her to work with.
It wouldn't surprise me if she ended up with a nationally broadcast TV show...
Great job Jenn. To everyone else: Shhh!

I too was VERY pleased with my haircut by Jen. She solved so many “hair issues” for me by giving me an excellent cut. I haven’t even have to use hair products since I’ve seen her!
I have long, thick and somewhat curly hair and it tends to be frizzy and bulky around my shoulders so I was looking forward to see how a dry cut might help. I went to see Jen without even putting products in my hair and let her do her thing and left The Artistic Edge looking like my hair had been washed and full of taming hair products but in fact because she did such an excellent job there was no need for her to use products.
I’ve done my hair several times since Jen cut it and I am SO impressed.
I’ve always had my hair cut in a similar fashion: “long layers” and “shaped around my face”. It’s been probably 10 years since I’ve had such an excellent cut.
I have NEVER in my life pre-booked a haircut appointment because I always just go to the hairdresser when “I can’t take it anymore” but I decided it was well worth pre-booking due to her new popularity in the community due to her excellent service and I look forward to having her cut/style my hair in the years to come!

I highly recommend Kim Moran-Klein of The Artistic Edge Hair Salon. Kim is cheerful, very talented, down to earth, listens to her customers, and gives them the cut they want. She has great ideas and offers helpful advice to the clueless. She is warm, friendly, but still very professional. Kim creates terrific haircuts and styles. We came to her with 3 very different customers with 3 very different issues and she did a great job on all of us. The prices are higher than a Supercuts or some other chain, but not at all unreasonable. The service, haircuts and over all experience at Artistic Edge make it a great value for the money. I recommend Kim Moran-Klein very highly.

I'd like to add my compliments to others regarding Kim Moran-Klein at the Artistic Edge salon. Kim accomodated my schedule this week in spite of 2 snow storms and did a fabulous job on my haircut and my color. She's a doll....We all hope that Jen Brumm is well enough to return soon. But this girl is a keeper. Give her a call and try out her talents (508-529-3543).

I highly recommend Unlimited Cuts and Salon on rte 9 in Framingham. They are located.on the West bound side of Rte 9 between F&W Pest and Imperial China. Where Supercuts used to be located. They are next to Allite lighting store. My family has frequented them for over 2 years now. Haicuts alone are $14 with wash and blow dry they are $20-25. Color starts at $30 and waxing is unbelievably cheap! Kids haircuts are $12. We have referred many people there all have been more than satisfied. The owners are a husband and wife, Kim and Andy. they have 3 additional stylists. You can also get manicures and Pedicures. The shop is immaculately clean. My favorite perk is that you don't have to make an appointment. I have never waited more than 15 minutes without an appointment. They are very timely if you do have an appointment. They are exceedingly nice and are very talented. They cut and style all lengths of hair and do a fabulous job. I switched after seeing the same hairdresser for many years and have never recieved so many compliments. I nearly forgot to tell you...They are open 7 days a week monday through Saturday from 9 am -8pm. I'm not sure of their Sunday hours. If you go let them know Daphne sent you.

I can't say enough good things about Unlimited Salon on Route 9 in Framingham. Family owned and operated, they are open 7 days a week! Affordable too.
And to top it off, I was introduced to them by a fellow Fram-com-er!
Ask for Kim.

I agree; Ellesentrix is fabulous. I recommend Mindee -- she gives you the time and care you would expect for a $200 Newbury Street haircut. They are open every day but Tuesdays.

We seem to have a very style savvy neighborhood here, so I want to cast my vote for Mindee at llesentrix. I have never been happier with a haircut or a stylist than I am with her. I finally have a wash and wear style. She also showed me how to easily tame what had always been a head full of frizz, and with no effort at all. She will give you all the care of a Newbury Street stylist and a wash, cut and blow dry runs about $35.

I just got home from yet another fabulous cut and color from Kim Moran-Klein from the former Artistic Edge salon. With Jenn's departure and mounting challenges trying to maintain a business long distance, Kim has now taken the shop under her talented wings and as of this week the salon is officially hers. Artistic Edge has been re-named Hunter Roberts Salon and now exclusively owned and managed by Kim.
Many of us here on Framcom have experienced the amazing talent Kim offers, her flair for style and color and just knowing what will work is unbeatable. No matter your age, style, curls, straight, short, long, she just "gets it" and has worked wonders on myself and those I know who have booked with her. If you haven't had the chance yet, give her a call! Go for a spring pick me up; you'll feel like a million bucks when you leave!

I want to second all the great recommendations that have been posted for Kim Moran-Klein. I have had my hair done by her twice now and have loved the way it came out. She really knows what she is doing and listens to what you want done. She is very friendly and has loads of energy. Please give her a try if you are in the market for a new hair salon. You won't regret it.
Lots of luck to Kim as she takes over the Artistic Edge as her own salon. I also wish Jenn luck with all that she is going through.

Hello Framcom community. I am writing to all of you folks who might be of a mind to try a new place to get your family's haircuts. I know that is not everyone because when you get a service like that, and you are satisfied, you stick with it as long as you possibly can. I am just trying to help the owners of this new business venture to get their shop up and running. If you can, will, please try this shop for your next cut.

Just a second endorsement for the Family Clip Shop. I haven't been there yet, but I have been a faithful follower of Lan, who used to cut at the Hair Cuttery location on Rte. 9 oppposite Shopper's World (in the same plaza with DCU and Legal Seafoods), for a couple of years now. No one else has cut my hair since I found her!
I'll be heading to the Family Clip Shop as soon as my hair grows out a bit more - I was sure to get a cut from her on one of her last days at the Hair Cuttery, since I wasn't sure how long it would take her to get established at her new place, and I didn't want to have to go to someone else.
Tell her Eileen (aka "Diana" - she'll know what you mean) sent you!
