My wife and I had the most delicious Indian meal this evening at the Green Chili in the Pinefield Shopping Plaza. The restaurant is spotlessly clean, food was delicious (we asked the very accommodating owner to keep it mild for our New England palates), portions more than generous and prices very reasonable.
Nice graphics, pictures and interesting Indian facts on the walls.
We will go back next week with the grand kids so we can get more delicious and savory Indian food and they can order the hot dogs, hamburgers, fries and ice cream which are also on the menu.
It's worth going to Green Chili just to meet the owner Tony who has traveled, lived and cooked all over the world.

Got some take out food last night from Green Chili Restaurant on Nichols Road. The amount charged was different than what I calculated. When asked to review the prices per item, I was told by Justin, not sure if he is the owner or a worker, that it didn't matter, that was the amount I had to pay. When I repeated my request to review the prices, I was told not so nicely that I was using a Groupon and that the amount of food I was getting for $20 was a bargain. However, I was being asked to pay additional cash beyond the price of the Groupon. I asked for a menu at the counter and proceeded to review the item prices myself. I was then told that some prices were higher on the computer than on the menu. No printed receipt was given me. However, I told him he can't charge a higher price than is advertised on the menu. It was quite a nasty situation. I was basically told not to come back.
So, my question is, what department in the Town of Framingham oversees this type of inaccuracy and deceptiveness in pricing?
My advice is not to patronize Green Chilis. Thanks.
