I would like to sing the praises of Steve Orr, who came to my rescue last week when I had a computer crisis!! I had made the horrible and devastating mistake of permanently deleting over 5200 photos and videos from my documents and computer. They were not only gone from my documents, but because they far exceeded the space in my recycle bin, they were deleted from my computer altogether. I was referred to Steve in my moment of need and through my tears. Steve called me within moments and 20 minutes after I hung up, he was in my living room with his bag of tricks and laptop in hand. Then the magician went to work......despite my anguish, tears, many, many questions and a phone call from his wife who thought she broke her foot...Steve met with success after 3 hours. He had accomplished the near impossible, he was able to retrieve from the inner bowels of my hard drive, 4 years of pictures and videos...5200 plus files in all and transferred them back into my documents. He is AWESOME!!!! His price was reasonable and his service is UNMATCHED!!! Thank you Steve Orr and to my friend Janet Leombruno who referred him!!

First, I want to thank those of you who let us all know about Steve’s computer service.
Anyone with a computer problem cannot go wrong by getting in touch with Frambor/Framcom’s Steve Orr. The other day I knew I had a serious problem with my computer and emailed Steve because of emails posted here. He came over, looked in places that I had no idea where they existed or what to do with the info they provided. After a couple minutes, he determined that I needed a new hard drive. He took my computer and had it back to me within a couple days with a new, better hard drive and all tuned up better than new. (And with all my data on the new hard drive.) Also, Steve took the time to explain several things to me so that I can be a better computer user.
Now Steve is definitely my “GO TO” computer guy. No more service center repairs, where you never know who will be working on your computer, for me.

My computer became pretty much non-functional last week. I emailed Steve and he came right over and picked up the computer. It turns out it had many things wrong with it, but now it is back and working better than ever! A big thank you to Steve! I wish I had called him sooner. If you have computer problems, don't hesitate to call Steve, you will not regret it!

I recently was having a problem with my desktop computer and went to Geek Squad who set it up for me. They couldn't help me for a week so when I came home I e-mailed Steve Orr (thanks to all the favorable comments I had heard). Steve replied immediately and was at my door step shortly after we had talked. Not only did he correct the problem, he added more memory and replaced the virus/security software. As he was leaving, he saw my laptop and asked if he could check it. I told him it was working fine but he checked it out anyhow. He cleaned and tuned it up and, yes, he improved it. He, also, explains things in layman language so you get an education as well. He has a wonderful personality and a great sense of humor......and is reasonable on the pocket book. Thank you, Steve!

Just another satisfied customer of computer guru Steveo. He has revived two old and deeply impaired computers for me in the past two months and they are like new again! These babies were sick enough to get retired/replaced, but Steve has given me a few more years with them. Look to Steve for your computer needs please.

Hi Framcom,
I recently had my computer "diagnosed" and "repaired" by Steve Orr. He quickly diagnosed the problems (there were many), corrected them, and set us up with additional memory and improved virus/security software. Our computer is as fast now as the day we bought it. Steve was prompt in responding to my request, flexible with meeting times, dates and locations, and reasonably priced. Beyond all of that, he was nice to my children and my dogs

My computer had been very slow with other problems.
I called on Steve and he came over with his black bag and gave it an internal. Steve relieved the computer of all its ills and it is now working at warp speed again.

I want to recommend Steve Orr for a tune up of your computer. He is experienced and capable. Has access to, and knows how to use, a variety of tools.
We all know how frustrating a flaky computer is!! Steve has removed that frustration for my family.

My computer was running slowly and I couldn't access certain sites. I got in touch with Steve Orr and and he immediately came to my house and worked his magic. He cleared the several viruses that infected my hard drive, installed programs that would help keep it running at maximum efficiency and even helped install my printer and fax unit. He did all this quickly and was able to explain to me what he was doing so I gained some computer knowledge at the same time. I found steve extremely personable and knowledgeable, all this at a very reasonable fee and I would highly recommend him to all my friends.

Steve came to our house and repaired an older computer we have. We pretty much were not using that computer anymore because it was just too slow and unresponsive. Steve repaired it, and made it like new again! We are very pleased, and highly recommend Steve to fix your computer problems. He is very knowledgeable, pleasant, easy to work with, and his price is very fair.

Just wanted to report that I spent the best $95 (+ a cost for some memory needed.) Steve came over and both "deloused" my slow as molasses computer, but he also evaluated it, found the appropriate amount of new memory needed and installed it, cleared out less useful anti-virus software, set me up with things that are better and the whole time showed me the process, demonstrated the proper updates and checks I should be doing and how often- all at home in my kitchen- so I did not have to pack up my computer and crazy toddler and leave my computer somewhere for a week. I used to have to sit and wait to log on to websites and do other things. Now, my computer is incredibly fast. It's a real time saver. I felt like I got a computer lesson out of the whole deal too since Steve did a great job of explaining everything. I don't think he's doing his $95 special for very much longer- so I'd get in touch if you were thinking about it.

Dear Framcomers,
I have to add my compliments to Steven Orr. He spent many, many hours working on my computer. It wasn't viruses, not the software, not the hardware, not the firmware. I think it was a system file, but only he knows!
So if you have a computer issue, call Steve. He won't stop working on it until he figures it out!

Steve cleaned up my system, removed a few corruptions and added enough memory to double the speed. Now I can watch movies on a pretty old computer. And the convenience can't be beat. Because he is someone we all know personally, I just left him the house key and I went off to work. When I got home, I had a computer that was virtually new.

Folks:
Just wanted to convey a positive experience I had with Steve this past Saturday where I brought over a ten year old desktop unit to (1) have him retrieve some files that had somehow gone into hiding and (2) evaluate the unit to see how feasible it would be for a processor/memory upgrade. He called later that day to say he'd found the missing data and downloaded it to a disk for me. He was also up front in letting me know that it would be cheaper to buy a new machine than it would have been to bring this one up to current standards.
When I went back the next day, I brought in a nine year old laptop for evaluation and we spent about 30 minutes looking at the manual online before deciding that it wouldn't hold enough memory to be useful enough with today's software.
I learned a lot, the price was right, turnaround was quick and I plan to bring in our "newer" machine for a checkup within the next few weeks.

Hello All,
I also want to let you know that my son and I are very pleased with the work that Steve Orr performed on our computers at our home recently. Both computers were a mess, freezing up (and other issues) on a regular basis. Steve installed additional memory and "did his thing." And, what do you know........we have two OLD computers that are as good as new.
Steve was knowledgeable, prompt, dependable, easy to deal with and very cost effective. His house calls are truly an added plus. I highly recommend Steve if you are in need of help for your computer(s).

I have been very happy with Paul Bryan, Inc. in Concord. They specialize in Macs. It's run by a couple of brothers, and if something isn't worth fixing, they'll tell you. I have had them repair computers as well as have purchased used machines from them. Their turn-around time is reasonable, especially considering they are a small shop.
