Arena & Sons is a great butcher shop on Ash St. In Hopkinton. It's really off the beaten path and you'd never find it unless someone told you to go there. I bought 2 excellent prime rib steaks from them last week. The quality and pricing are excellent. You have to order in advance.

Just asking but isn't this the animal slaughter house in Hopkinton? Well, if it is, you can be sure the meat is fresh. Just a tad too close to the moo for me.

Cintolo's Market

I would highly recommend Cintolo's Market. It's the only place my family buy their Italian sausage.
Mr. Cintolo makes the sausage every Thursday. You could call and request fennel and I'm sure he'd be happy to add it for you if he doesn't already. He makes sweet and hot sausage.

Not only does Louie Cintolo make the best homemade sausages around he has been a town meeting member for years. A call to Louie is important because he likes to make sure he has enough for his regular customers and you need to let him know if you want sweet or hot.
This is a must try! He's located on the corner of Bishop and Hartford St.

I always use Sudbury Farms and I've never been disappointed. They have great roasts, and their boneless ribeye steaks from the counter are to die for. Not the healthiest. If you want a lower fat steak try the flank - great for marinating. Just cook it fast and close to the fire.
